National charity, Breast Cancer UK are on a mission to prevent breast cancer.


Brief

For the charity’s Prevention Week 2024, Breast Cancer UK came to Altitude for support with promoting the campaign and its accompanying T-shirts.

Our Activity

We worked with the charity’s content and communications team to determine a PR strategy – which included launching the T-shirts to the media and public using an influencer campaign, while creating a wider buzz in the build up to Prevention Week. 

We liaised with the media, pitching and rolling out PR to national, regional, food & drink, interior, lifestyle, fashion, beauty, health, design and charity titles.


Results

The project received coverage in local, national and trade titles both online and in print – including in the Daily Mirror, Daily Record and Daily Express.

The influencer campaign also worked, and Sara Cox, Suzi Ruffell and others wore a Breast Cancer UK Prevention Week T-shirt and helped promote the wider campaign via their socials. 

The campaign found PR enormously beneficial, increasing T-shirt sales and raising awareness around Breast Cancer Prevention and the charity’s Prevention Week.
