Why Do You Need PR?

Do you need PR? If you place customers or stakeholders at the heart of what you do (and who doesn’t?) then the answer is most certainly YES.

Good PR helps you be at your customers’ side. That’s newsletters, media relations, attention-grabbing and sharable social media, and memorable events.

Building trust and understanding in your business means putting your values at the heart of what you do and evidencing it through PR.

This also extends to your own team. Internally staff must buy into what you say and do.

This has been hard during the pandemic but as we move beyond the pandemic, it’s essential that we fully engage with employees to help them keep healthy and happy.

We face many uncertainties at the moment and employees are likely to be anxious, distressed by media reports and wondering how upheaval in the world might affect the economy, your business,  supply chains and their roles.

Keep your people engaged and motivated. Keep them in the loop and take them with you.

Remember that the best PR is strategic. It’s a deliberate attempt to reach out to customers and stakeholders. Communication, therefore, must be planned and carefully delivered.
